How To Track Your Time When Working From Home

Filed under: How To Get Organized

Here’s a great tool available at http://www.spudcity.com that you can use to punch in and out of client projects (it even has a punch button on your desktop), and produce detailed time reports for clients. It’s called Traxtime and I highly recommend it. There might be some free tools on the internet that also do the job, but I really like this one.

What tools do you recommend for working from home?

I like Zoho the online office.

Hi Lisa,

Fanurio http://www.fanuriotimetracking.com helps with the less appealing aspects of freelancing like billing and keeping track of time. It’s a useful application, with a user-friendly interface.
